This is an. iso disc image of my Apple Legacy Software Recovery CD, with a date of February 2000.
This CD contains software for many legacy Macintosh computers and Apple hardware, including the Newton, Apple II, and Apple Lisa. It also contains a bootable System 7.6 system folder which allows many vintage Macintosh systems to startup from the CD.
The About text file on this disc has a date of May 1999, while the last
modified date of the folders have a date of October 1999. I have another copy of this disc with a label of "November 1999" but the MD5 hash and contents are identical. This makes sense, as this legacy CD was re-issued as part of an AppleCare service CD binder multiple times over the years.
Other versions of this disc are available on
MacintoshGarden.org. However, some minor issues have been noted with earlier rips of this disc. This disc was ripped with ImgBurn on Windows and appears to be a perfect copy.
